Stabenow and Levin

According to PowerLine Blog, Michigan has yet another thing to be proud of its Senate members for.

Yep, Sens. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow have come forward and bravely refused to condemn the General Betray-Us advertisement placed in the New York Times by The ad ran on the opening day of testimony given by General Petreaus before a joint session of Congress.

The amendment wishes

To express the sense of the Senate that General David H. Petraeus, Commanding General, Multi-National Force-Iraq, deserves the full support of the Senate and strongly condemn personal attacks on the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all members of the United States Armed Forces.
Levin and Stabenow have determined that they cannot turn their backs on their most important of constituents, the hardened left as exemplified by MoveOn.

Shame on you Senators!
