IAEA: Iran Is Not An "Imminent" Threat

In EU Politix with a hat tip to Right Nation.

Iran does not pose an imminent threat, Mohamed ElBaradei the UN's nuclear watchdog declared on Thursday.

Speaking after a meeting of the UN nuclear watchdog, the IAEA chief said the dispute between Iran and the west was not yet "critical."

Thursday’s meeting was “about confidence building, but not in any way about an imminent threat” he told reporters.

In a bid to lessen the growing sense of crisis, ElBaradei pointed to positive signals from Iran who have stepped up co-operation with the IAEA in recent days.
I feel quite content to sit back and relax as Stalinist wannabe Vladimir Putin leads the negotiations for the non-fascist free world with the very peace loving Mahmoud Ahmadinejad happily representing the kill-all-the-Joooooos-and-other-infidels fascist crowd.

This is a lot like Neville Chamberlain negotiating with Adolph Hitler in the weeks prior to WW2. Well, that is if Chamberlain had also been an athiest totalitarian denouncer of freedom with a serious world conquest jones, instead of just another frilly minced pink-wearing woosiefop. You know, kinda like the IAEA.
