The quote comes from Alparslan Arslan, the lawyer that was arrested for the murder of a judge in Turkey on May 18. When questioned on the reasoning behind the attack he responded that his actions were

"the reflex actions of a young Muslim," echoing what he told police in his first testimony, which was that he had carried out the attack as "punishment" for the Council of State ruling involving the wearing of a headscarf as a public employee.
