Apparently it is believed that one of the least productive countries on Earth would be better able to survive economically if the minimum wage was raised, if unneeded workers were guaranteed jobs, and if everyone else received an increase in social benefits. Which is, come to think of it, the forever Democrat Party's political strategy in this country.
