World Respect May Be a Zero Sum Game
As Power Line points out this morning, many world leaders are thrilled with the election of Barack Obama as the next President of the United States. These leaders feel that George Bush's exit from the White House will help to usher in a new age of diplomacy and goodwill that has been missing in Washington since Bill Clinton made his exit some eight years ago.
However, as a wise man once said (it may have been me,) you cannot please everyone.
Keeping this in mind, it seems that a number of world leaders are a bit less exuberant over the change of attitude in Washington.
