A draft resolution to impose sanctions on Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and a number of his key allies has been vetoed at the UN Security Council. You know, cutting the feet off the wife of a political opponent and then burning her to death is no way to score political points at UN HQ, but gosh, you cannot punish every little thing, can you?
China and Russia both rejected the proposed measures, including a freeze on their financial assets and travel.
Once you have condemned these little acts in the strongest language possible, what is there left to do?
How about bulldoze the building?
