A Fine Turnip Recipe

Ingredients:

1 medium turnip, cooked and mashed
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash of pepper
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon flour
2 eggs, separated

Directions:

Mix well: turnip, butter, salt, pepper, sugar and flour. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff; set aside. Beat 2 egg yolks until light, gradually stir into seasoned turnip. Fold in egg whites. Pour into greased 1 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned.

Removal and Servings:

Slowly open oven door. Plug nose. Open all windows and set exhaust fan on high. Carefully remove pan from oven and drop directly into a toxics rated sealable metal garbage can. Throw can in landfill. Sell house.

I'm I to understand that you like turnips about as much as asparagus?

Or that you can't find any good veggie recipes? (Is this "good recipes" or "good veggies? Hummmm???)

Or are you just a bad cook?!?!?
